Happy 4th of July, guys!I think my favorite celebration is the all night unorganized anarchy going on at a field at the Moapa Indian reservation right now.
There is a gas station on the reservation that sells all sorts of illegal fireworks. Of course, the state cop surround the gas station ready to give you a ticket if you try to take them back to your house.
So...people to go the field and light them off. They have been there since yesterday in an totally unorganized chaos lighting off huge-ass, illegal fireworks. The poor Moapa fire engine calmly goes around putting out all the brush fires.
Evidently, it turns out to be an uninterrupted display of pretty nice fireworks for a really long time. So since there is no fireworks show on the strip and you don't want to go o one of the shows at one of the parks around the Valley, maybe next year you maybe you might want to check out the scene at the Moapa Reservation. There are absolutely no precautions or facilities--so be prepared. Don't burn the whole thing down, guys!

They literally have a whole store full of fireworks and firecrackers.

Nope, not this year. It sounds pretty awesome though.
